If all page performances are the same for every program, then this Nand Flash particle should be the most stable and reliable. Therefore, by observing the distribution of each page's performance, you can roughly see how reliable Nand Flash is.
Although each Nand Flash datasheet will indicate the detailed time of Erase, Program, and Read Performance. These Performances average on the Lower and Upper pages. Then, it is misunderstood that the performance of each page is the same, but this is not the case.
The test method is as follows: select the 1024th (03FF) block, do 1000 times of P/E, and generate a picture of each P/E. The more stable the curve is, the more stable the particles are. The larger the curve jumps, the worse the stability of the particles.
Tested by Renice NFA100-E Nand Flash Tester
The time-consuming page0 program seems to be stable:
The time-consuming of an unsatisfactory Lower page:
The time-consuming of an unsatisfactory Upper page:
Overall, the distribution of the page program is messy, and as a new 3D Nand sample, the reliability may be improved.
Look at Erase:
Conclusions and some meaningful practical uses can be drawn from the pictures:
1. Block increases with the number of Erases, and the performance time becomes longer;
2. This conclusion can be used to identify second-hand Nand Flash or refurbished Nand Flash. There are many fakes on the market. These fakes may cause engineers to lose their jobs. Some Bug engineers may not have known that Nand itself caused it, desperately trying to debug the software, and the result will only get worse and worse.
